About the Artist

Clay Borsenik uses they/ them pronouns. They graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Illustration and a minor in Animation. They specialize in narrative storytelling, book illustration, character design, and color choice. They have been passionate about illustration all of their life, they love to create colors to portray a mood that others can feel when they see their work. Clay's artist name, Morishigeart, comes from the Japanese word for “vast forest” which is a metaphor for my imagination.
